Our Hydrocyclone filters are ideal for when you need to pre-filter water with high loads of sand, before passing it through screen or media filters. They’re incredibly easy to operate – so you don’t have to worry about any moving parts. And they’re built to last so your irrigation system is always protected.
The Hydrocyclone Separator is a simple device, and easy to operate and maintain as it has no moving parts or screens. The Hydrocyclone separates sand and other solid matter form your application with very little headloss, and with 90% or greater efficiency than other separators in the market.
Hydrocyclones use a tangenital injection flow design which enhances the centrifugal forces and thus, is able to effectivley move the solid particles outwards. The particles then move down in a spiral manner into an underflow chamber, while the fresh =, clean liquid is moved upwards into the centre of the spiral and towards the top of the outlet.

- The underflow chamber is drained automatcally without interuppting the full functioning of the device.
- Available in a variety of sizes: 3/4", 1", 1 1/2", 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 8".
- Available with three end connections: Thread (M), Flange (F) and Victaulic (V)
- Has a 100 micron protective coating of extra durable polyester. This is applied electrostatically and is overn-cured on a zinc-phosphate layer for maximal anti-corrosian protection.
