Plasson Metric Male BSP Adaptors for Blueline Poly Pipe

A compression male adaptor fitting is used to join a length of metric HDPE pipe with a female-threaded valve or tap. Compression adaptors with a male transition fitting can also be used to fit a female-threaded end cap, so that a pipeline extension can be fitted in future. With a size range from 20 mm to 110 mm, compression male adaptor fittings match common pipe sizes, and are usually SDR 11. Compression male adaptors are suitable for water and other similar fluids, with pressures up to 16 bar, however this varies with the ambient temperature and temperature of the pipe contents. Male adaptor compression fittings are made from PE100 material with precisely moulded parts, and a rubber sealing ring for larger sizes. For larger sizes, the threaded end is reinforced with a stainless steel ring.
