CARTRIDGE DETAILS:

• 5 Micron Poly Spun Cartridge - Poly Spun is the best type of filtration you can get. They do not accumulate bacteria as much as other materials, as well as being high flow and low pressure drop.
• 10 Micron Pentair Diamond Flow Cartridge - DFX Series Diamond Flow cartridges are a unique, premium cartridge that utilizes several of the Pentair core competencies by merging technologies into one cartridge in order to bring customers a quality product. Diamond Flow Series cartridges offer the effective chlorine taste & odor reduction found in traditional Pentek§ carbon blocks, joined with the superior sediment reduction to resist premature plugging. These dual purpose cartridges are well-suited for a wide range of applications. 
• Matrikx CTO Activated Carbon Block Cartridge - MATRIKX® CTO® filters, powered by GREENBLOCK®, are made from 100% coconut shell carbon, a renewable, and ecologically sustainable material. The carbon is processed into blocks using a unique binder system and proprietary manufacturing techniques to produce filters with a greater number of micro-pores and available carbon surface area, which display superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics.

REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGES:

It is recomended to replace both cartridges at least once a year, depending on usage. The polyester pleated cartridge can be washed, but when there is a build up of bacteria it is recomended to replace.
