The Atlas Filtri Big F Pro 256-C is a high-quality, Italian-made whole house water filtration system designed to provide safe, clean water from rainwater sources. This all-in-one solution combines dual-stage filtration with powerful ultraviolet (UV) disinfection to protect your household from harmful microorganisms—without the need for chemicals.

The system features two 20" Big Blue housings pre-fitted with a 20-micron pleated sediment filter and a 5-micron carbon block filter. These filters work together to capture coarse sediment, improve taste and odour, and reduce chlorine by-products, THMs, and trace levels of metals, pesticides, and herbicides. The 56W stainless steel UV chamber then neutralises bacteria, viruses, and protozoa with a UV dose of 30–40 mJ/cm².

Built for flow rates of up to 70 litres per minute, the Big F Pro 256-C is fully pre-plumbed and assembled, with a single inlet/outlet and reversible plumbing under a secure, weather-resistant cover. The IP54-rated controller features a digital display with a lamp countdown timer and acoustic alarm to ensure continued safe operation.

CARTRIDGE DETAILS

• 20" 20 Micron Pleated Course Sediment Filter: Pleated cartridges are commonly used as primary filtration for sediment as they can be cleaned and reused.
  The 20 & 25 micron versions are often used as the first in a series of filters, including as the primary filter in UV kits. They have a large surface area to accommodate high flows with a low pressure drop
• 20" Carbon Block 5 Micron: This filtration system utilizes 20" carbon cartridges to effectively remove chlorine and its by-products, THMs (Trihalomethanes). These cartridges also enhance the taste and odor of drinking water while reducing trace levels of heavy metals, herbicides, and pesticides. Additionally, the micron rating of the carbon cartridges offers sediment reduction and removal.
