Pressure Tanks for Pumps

Pressure tanks for pumps (or pressure vessel or bladder) is a metal or fibreglass container that can vary in size from 2 litres up to 500L. Inside the tank there is a rubber diaphragm that divides the tank into 2 halves, the wet half and dry half.

When the tap shuts, then the water stops flowing and the pressure in the system builds. When the pressure reaches the “off” setting of the switch or controller, then this turns the pump off and the pipes remain pressurised.

Our pressure tanks are ideal for pumps being used in domestic/home application.

By installing a Pressure Tank, the pump start events can cut by 40-80%. The tanks are easy to fit to most pumps and can also be wall mounted. The tanks can be installed within minutes and the system can be fitted to any brand or type of pump.
