Grey Water Systems

Grey water pump systems are designed to collect, lift, and transfer wastewater from showers, basins, laundry troughs, and other non-sewage fixtures where gravity drainage is not possible. Often installed in basements, granny flats, extensions, or remote bathrooms, these systems provide a compact and reliable solution for moving grey water to the main sewer line or treatment system.

A typical grey water pump system consists of a sealed collection tank fitted with a submersible pump and automatic float control. As grey water enters the tank, the float switch activates the pump once the water reaches a preset level, automatically discharging the water through a small-diameter pressure pipe to the sewer or disposal point. This allows fixtures to be installed below the level of the main drainage line without the need for major excavation or gravity piping.

Modern grey water pump systems are engineered for quiet operation, durability, and easy installation. Many units come pre-assembled with integrated non-return valves, ventilation connections, and maintenance access points, making them ideal for both residential and light commercial applications.
