The Pentair Big Blue Dual Whole House Filter 20" x 4.5" system is ideal for small - medium size houses - Excellent to remove chlorine, odors and many other chemicals and contaminants. Effectively eliminates many impurities from tap water to offer sparkling clean and great tasting water throughout your whole house. Complete systems with filter cartridge, wall bracket and housing wrench. Compatable for domestic rain water treatment or mains/town water filtration with no power required.

Combining the superior filtration power of a Polyester Pleated followed by a Pentair Carbon Cartridge. A strong robust filter that is specifically designed for places where high flow rate is required whether on your home, commercial or industrial use. Treating water up to 60 litres per minute. All bolts, brackets and spanner are included in this ready to install system.

PENTAIR BIG BLUE HOUSING

Pentair Big Blue and Big Black Heavy Duty Filter Housings offer the versatility to meet all of your large-capacity filtration needs, including highflow and heavy-sediment applications. The extra large housing allows for greater cartridge capacity, reducing the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications. Sumps are available in 20" lengths. The High-Flow Polypropylene (HFPP) cap is available with 1" BSP inlet and outlet ports. Big Blue and Big Black Housings are compatible with a broad range of chemicals and are available with or without a pressure relief button. They accept a wide variety of 20" x 4.5" diameter cartridges. These housings are rated to 60 LPM.

Stage 1 - Polyester Pleated

The polyester pleated cartridge provides increased surface area and longer filter life. Pleated cartridge provides "depth" filtration and remove more contaminants, large and fine particles from a drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust particles. This filter is responsible for removing dirt, rust, and most suspended solids, to protect and extend the life of the CTO carbon block filter. 

Stage 2 - Pentair DFX-CB-20BB

DFX Series Diamond Flow cartridges are a unique, premium cartridge that utilizes several of the Pentair core competencies by merging technologies into one cartridge in order to bring customers a quality product. Diamond Flow Series cartridges offer the effective chlorine taste & odor reduction found in traditional Pentek§ carbon blocks, joined with the superior sediment reduction to resist premature plugging.
