The Atlas Filtri Big F Pro 156-C is a compact, Italian-made whole house filtration and disinfection system designed specifically for homes using rainwater. Ideal for smaller households or lower flow rate applications, it combines dual-stage sediment and carbon filtration with high-performance ultraviolet (UV) disinfection—all in a plug-and-play format.

This complete system includes two 10" Big Blue housings: one with a 20-micron pleated sediment filter to trap larger particles, and another with a 5-micron carbon block cartridge to improve water taste and odour while reducing chlorine by-products, THMs, and trace contaminants. After filtration, the 56W stainless steel UV chamber inactivates bacteria, viruses, and protozoa with a 30–40 mJ/cm² dose, ensuring safe, chemical-free water throughout your home.

Housed under a lockable, weather-resistant cover, the pre-assembled unit features a single inlet/outlet connection with a reversible configuration for easy, neat installation. A digital control panel with a lamp countdown timer and acoustic alarm offers real-time system status for your peace of mind.

CARTRIDGE DETAILS

• 20 Micron 10" Pleated: The 10" pleated cartridge is a commonly used primary filtration method for sediment, offering the benefit of reuse after cleaning. The 20 and 25 micron versions are often utilized as the initial filter in a series, and can also serve as the main filter in UV filtration systems. These cartridges are designed with a large surface area to support high flow rates while maintaining a low pressure drop.
• 10" Carbon Block 5 Micron: This filtration system utilizes 10" carbon cartridges to effectively remove chlorine and its by-products, THMs (Trihalomethanes). These cartridges also enhance the taste and odor of drinking water while reducing trace levels of heavy metals, herbicides, and pesticides. Additionally, the micron rating of the carbon cartridges offers sediment reduction and removal.
