Bermad IR-13Q Series Plastic Hydraulically Operated Quick Pressure Relief Valve
| DOWNLOAD PRODUCT BROCHURE |
The Bermad IR-13Q-2W is a high-performance, hydraulically operated quick pressure relief valve designed to protect irrigation systems from sudden pressure spikes and system overload. When system pressure rises above the preset maximum, the valve responds instantly by opening fully to relieve excess pressure and then recloses smoothly with a drip-tight seal.
Built with Bermad’s hYflow™ ‘Y’ body design, this valve delivers ultra-high flow capacity and minimal head loss, while the Super Travel (FST) diaphragm and guided plug provide stable regulation, low actuation pressure, and long-term diaphragm protection.
Ideal for system burst prevention, filter housing protection, and visual indication of system overpressure, the IR-13Q-2W offers a wide setting range, minimal hysteresis, and unmatched reliability under harsh operating conditions.

- Ensure filter arrow matches flow direction
- Open all cock valves fully
- Slowly open upstream isolating valve
- Bleed air from control loop via highest cover tube fitting
- Adjust set pressure as needed:
- Turn pilot screw clockwise until valve seals
- Then turn counter-clockwise until valve just leaks
- Tighten until sealed again, then turn an additional ¼–½ turn
- Lock pilot screw in position
