The system features a three-stage filtration process optimised for both particulate removal and scale prevention. First, a 10-micron pleated sediment cartridge captures fine particles, sand, and rust. The second stage uses a 5-micron CB-EC carbon block to reduce chlorine, taste, and odour. The final stage introduces Atlas Filtri's certified ScaleArmor™ limescale reduction cartridge, which conditions the water using food-grade polyphosphates. This actively prevents scale formation on hot water systems and pipework, while helping dissolve existing deposits over time.

All cartridges are housed in heavy-duty 20” x 4.5” filter housings protected by a brushed stainless steel outdoor cover. Pressure gauges are included for monitoring filter performance, and the system design ensures easy cartridge replacement and installation.
