The Bermad Fox 3F Series is a high-performance, full-bore combination air valve designed for the reliable evacuation, intake, and release of air in water pipelines. Manufactured from ductile cast iron and equipped with CSA’s patented internal float and air release system, this valve performs three essential functions:

• Evacuates air during pipeline filling

• Releases air pockets under pressure

• Admits large volumes of air during pipeline draining or burst events to prevent vacuum damage

Engineered for use in main transmission lines, distribution networks, and irrigation systems, the Fox 3F ensures consistent air management even in rapid fill or high-flow conditions. A low-pressure sealing feature enhances leak prevention at pressures below 10 kPa on PN16 models, making it ideal for systems with pressure variability.

The valve complies with Australian standards AS4020, AS4158, AS4087, and AS4956, and is tested by a fully accredited SAI Global laboratory, ensuring safety and reliability for regulated water infrastructure.
