 DOWNLOAD PRODUCT BROCHURE

The Bermad IR-410-X is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm-actuated solenoid control valve engineered for precision On/Off control in modern irrigation systems. Powered by line pressure and triggered by electric signals, it can be configured in normally closed, normally open, or last-position modes, with a range of solenoid voltage options to suit diverse system needs.

Ideal for integration into computerized or remote irrigation systems, the IR-410 provides robust, reliable performance in elevated terrain, low-pressure networks, and complex agricultural layouts. Its globe-pattern hydro-efficient design ensures high flow capacity and consistent operation across a broad range of conditions.

APPLICATIONS

  • Computerized irrigation systems requiring remote control
  • Remote or elevated plots with limited access
  • Distribution hubs in agricultural water networks
  • Low-pressure irrigation setups
  • Irrigation machines and control valves for various crop types

FEATURES

  • Hydraulically operated, electrically controlled On/Off valve
  • Line pressure driven – no external hydraulic power required
  • Advanced globe valve body for smooth, unobstructed flow
  • Fully supported and balanced diaphragm for optimal performance
  • Low actuation pressure requirement
  • Progressive valve closing action to reduce water hammer and extend diaphragm life
  • Compact design with single moving part – long service life
  • In-line serviceable for ease of maintenance
  • Solenoid coil options available in multiple voltages

INSTALLATION

  1. Ensure ample space around the valve for future maintenance
  2. Flush pipeline thoroughly prior to installation
  3. Install isolation valves upstream and downstream for service access
  4. Follow flow direction indicated on the valve body
  5. Horizontal and upright installation recommended for best performance
  6. Verify solenoid coil specifications and use appropriate wiring
  7. Do not energize coil when removed from valve—risk of coil damage
