The Bermad IR-423 is a high-performance hydraulically operated, diaphragm-actuated control valve designed to deliver two essential pressure management functions in a single unit. It sustains a minimum preset upstream pressure (pressure sustaining) while also limiting downstream pressure to a maximum preset level (pressure reducing), regardless of varying system demand or fluctuations in upstream pressure.

Ideal for systems using fixed-speed pumps, the IR-423 stabilizes mainline pressure across different flow rates and irrigation shifts, ensuring the optimal operation of irrigation and pumping systems. By combining pressure reducing and sustaining in one valve, the IR-423 helps safeguard pump operation, protect downstream equipment, and optimize system performance in complex hydraulic networks.
