The Bermad Turbo-Bar WPH Woltman Water Meter with 100L Pulse Reed Switch is a robust, high-performance flow meter designed for heavy-duty applications across mining, agriculture, industrial waterworks, and irrigation. Based on the proven Woltman helical turbine principle, this meter delivers exceptional reliability and accuracy across a broad flow range.

Accepted by the WA Department of Water, the Turbo-Bar WPH is ideally suited for measuring large volumes of water from bores, dams, or reticulation systems—making it a preferred choice for farms, rural properties, and commercial water monitoring systems.

Available with either a magnetic drive mechanical register (Turbo-Bar-M) or an electronic register (Turbo-Bar-E), the meter is engineered for longevity, low maintenance, and pulse output integration.

FEATURES:

  • Pulse Output Ready: Equipped with a reed switch sensor for one or two pulse outputs (standard 100L/pulse).
  • Magnetic Drive Technology: Ensures low wear, no leakage, and dependable long-term operation.
  • Sealed Register (IP68 / NEMA 6P Rated): Fully dry and protected for use in all environments.
  • Flexible Orientation: Can be installed horizontally or vertically without affecting accuracy.
  • Standards Approved: Complies with ID 2004/22/EEC, OIML R49, and EN14154 (sizes 40–300 mm).
  • Flanged Ends with Gaskets Included: Easy installation and secure connection in pipeline systems.
  • WA Department of Water Accepted: Fully compliant for non-urban metering in Western Australia.

INSTALLATION

  • Ensure the arrow on the body aligns with the direction of flow.
  • Install with at least 5x pipe diameters of straight pipe upstream to minimise turbulence.
  • Flush the pipeline prior to installation to remove any debris.
  • The meter must be filled with water to operate correctly.
