The Bermad WW-770-55-U is a high-performance, large-diameter diaphragm-actuated control valve designed to maintain a preset maximum flow rate while also enabling electric actuation via solenoid control. This dual-function valve delivers the reliability of hydraulic flow regulation combined with the flexibility of remote on/off switching—making it ideal for complex water distribution networks, pump protection, and automated flow management.
Activated by upstream line pressure and equipped with a hydraulic flow sensor, the WW-770-55-U operates independently of electronics for flow limiting while using a low-power solenoid to control valve opening and closure. Its double-chamber design ensures moderated valve movement, reduces hydraulic shock, and protects internal components. With no moving parts in the flow sensor and no need for flow-straightening sections, installation is simple and highly adaptable.
Available in Normally Open, Normally Closed, or Last Position configurations, this valve is perfectly suited for switching between duty valves, regulating fill rates, or integrating into SCADA-managed flow regimes.
