The EMEC PRISMA 05 28 is a high-capacity, digitally controlled stepper motor dosing pump that delivers precise chemical metering at flow rates up to 28 litres per hour at 5 BAR, making it ideal for larger-volume or high-throughput dosing applications where accuracy, reliability, and integration flexibility are essential.
Like all pumps in the Prisma series, the 05 28 uses a micro-stepper motor to provide ultra-precise, continuous flow with a massive 4800:1 turndown ratio. This allows smooth dosing across the entire range without pulsing or flow spikes, making it well-suited to flow-sensitive systems such as water treatment, food and beverage processing, and CIP chemical delivery.
This model comes equipped in the FP configuration:
- PVDF head for superior chemical resistance
- Viton (FKM) seals for compatibility with acids and oxidisers
- Ceramic (CE) check balls for durability and corrosion resistance
- Solid PTFE diaphragm for long-term, leak-free performance
Operators can program the pump through its intuitive multi-colour LCD display, which offers visual status indication (normal, warning, or alarm) and access to a wide range of programmable dosing modes:
- Constant dosing
- Pulse multiply/divide
- Batch dosing
- ppm or % concentration mode
- Analog (mA or voltage) control
- Water meter make-up dosing
The Prisma 05 28 also includes a float switch input on the foot valve to pause dosing automatically when chemical levels are low, helping to prevent pump damage or dry operation. An alarm relay is included, with MODBUS RTU communication available as an option for SCADA or BMS integration.
Installation is flexible: the pump can be wall-mounted or installed on a foot bracket or chemical drum lid (sold separately). The rugged IP65-rated enclosure makes it suitable for wet plant environments and outdoor cabinet installations.
