The Matelec Deluxe Rain/Mains Valve & Pump Controller is a premium solution for seamless automatic changeover between rainwater and mains water supply. Designed for single pump systems, it ensures maximum use of harvested rainwater while maintaining a reliable mains water backup in the event of tank depletion, pump fault, or power failure.

Housed in a robust IP56-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door and removable gland plate, this controller is built for long-term durability in demanding environments. A padlockable mains isolator, thermal overload protection, and circuit breaker-protected low voltage control circuitry safeguard both the pump and control system.

An intuitive electronic keypad with status indicator lights makes operation simple, with clear visual feedback for rain/mains water mode and system faults. A dedicated system test button allows quick verification of pump and valve functionality.

OPERATION

• When rainwater is available, the mains water valve remains closed, and the pump operates via the working pressure switch.
• If the rainwater tank is depleted, the pump experiences a fault, or power is lost, the controller stops the pump and opens the mains water valve for uninterrupted supply.

• Available in single-phase (230VAC) or three-phase (400VAC) models.
• Optional 316 stainless steel enclosure.
