The Grundfos APG Series is a rugged, high-performance submersible wastewater pump designed to handle raw sewage, sludge-laden water and wastewater containing solids in pressurised sewer and drainage systems.

Built in heavy-duty cast iron for demanding conditions, the APG features a powerful hardened steel macerator cutter that shreds soft solids and fibrous waste into fine particles — ensuring clog-free operation in narrow discharge lines. This makes it ideal for municipal pressure sewer networks, remote or low-gradient sewage systems, commercial wastewater lift stations, and industrial effluent pits.

Each unit is a vertical, single-stage submersible pump with an integrated 415 V three-phase motor, fitted with long-life deep-groove ball bearings (greased for life) and a thermal overload switch for motor protection. A robust double shaft seal with an intermediate oil chamber filled with non-toxic special oil provides extended seal life and reliable operation.

The APG Series comes standard with a DN 50 discharge port, a 10 m mains cable and a practical carry handle. It’s ready for installation on an auto-coupling guide rail system or can be supplied with a ring stand for free-standing or portable use — perfect for flexible installations in new or existing pumping stations.
