Grundfos DDE (S)-PR Series Diaphragm Dosing Pump with Pulse Input Control
Grundfos DDE (S)-PR Speed Controlled Diaphragm Dosing Pump
The Grundfos DDE (S)-PR Digital Diaphragm Dosing Pump is a precision dosing solution designed for applications where chemical injection must be synchronised to an external pulse signal, such as flow meters, PLCs, or irrigation controllers. This listing covers both PR pulse-operated variants, allowing customers to select the correct flow and pressure combination for their application.
Unlike manual-only dosing pumps, the DDE-PR series accepts pulse input control, automatically adjusting the dosing volume in proportion to incoming pulses. This makes it ideal for flow-proportional dosing, where chemical injection must track system demand accurately and consistently.
Built on Grundfos SMART Digital Dosing technology, the DDE-PR uses an internal stepper motor drive to maintain full stroke length across the entire operating range. This ensures high dosing accuracy, smooth discharge flow, and reliable priming—even when handling degassing liquids. The pump can be switched easily between manual and pulse operation, offering flexibility during commissioning, testing, or maintenance.
Both variants feature a chemically resistant PVC dosing head, ceramic double ball valves, and PTFE gaskets, making them suitable for common water treatment and conditioning chemicals. Integrated level control, external stop input, and configurable output relays provide additional system protection and monitoring capability.
With an IP65 / Type 4X enclosure, low power consumption, and a compact footprint, the Grundfos DDE (S)-PR is well suited for irrigation fertigation systems, water treatment plants, OEM dosing skids, and industrial process water applications where accurate, pulse-based dosing is required.
