The Grundfos NB40-125 Series is a versatile close-coupled end-suction pump range designed for medium to high flow demands in clean water and light industrial applications. These non-self-priming, single-stage centrifugal pumps feature an axial suction port and radial discharge port with a horizontal shaft, providing smooth, energy-efficient liquid handling for a wide range of installations.
Built with robust hydraulics and a dynamically balanced impeller, the NB40-125 delivers stable performance with low vibration and minimal wear, ensuring long service life. The pump’s heavy-duty cast iron housing and corrosion-resistant internal wear parts provide excellent durability and resistance against slightly contaminated liquids that do not contain abrasive solids.
Each pump is directly coupled to an IEC-flanged three-phase AC motor running at 2900 RPM, delivering consistent flow rates up to 1000 LPM and heads up to 28 metres (280 kPa). A reliable O-ring seal between the pump housing and cover guarantees leak-free operation and secure system performance.
With its compact, close-coupled design, the NB40-125 is easy to install and maintain, making it ideal for domestic and commercial water supply, industrial pressure boosting, HVAC and cooling water circulation, irrigation, and general-purpose fluid transfer tasks.
