Hunter 12V DC Latching Solenoid Coil for All Hunter Valves

The Hunter 12V DC Latching Solenoid is purpose-built for compatibility with all plastic Hunter valves when used alongside battery-operated controllers. Unlike standard AC solenoids, this DC latching version operates by receiving a short electrical pulse from the controller to latch open or unlatch closed the valve, ensuring reliable irrigation control even in remote or power-restricted areas.

Engineered for seamless integration, the solenoid features one black common wire and one red station wire, which must be connected correctly to guarantee dependable operation. Designed with durability in mind, it delivers consistent performance across a wide range of field conditions.

For users upgrading from AC-powered setups, replacement is simple — just unscrew the existing AC solenoid and install the DC-Latching Solenoid. This direct swap makes Hunter valves fully compatible with Hunter NODE, NODE-BT, and XC Hybrid Controllers, providing battery-powered flexibility without sacrificing reliability.

BENEFITS

  • Compatible with all Hunter plastic valves
  • Designed for use with battery-powered controllers (NODE, NODE-BT, XC Hybrid)
  • Operates with a pulse-latch mechanism for open/close functionality
  • Pre-wired with black (common) and red (station) leads for easy installation
  • Simple replacement: unscrew AC solenoid and install DC solenoid
  • Built to withstand harsh irrigation environments for long service life

APPLICATIONS

  • Ideal for remote installations without mains power
  • Perfect for battery-powered irrigation systems in residential, commercial, or agricultural sites
