The Hunter X2 Controller combines the trusted reliability of the popular X-Core® with next-generation smart irrigation features. Perfect for residential and light commercial applications, the X2 provides simple dial-based programming out of the box, with the option to upgrade to Wi-Fi connectivity using the plug-in WAND Module.

When paired with Hunter’s Hydrawise® software, the X2 becomes a powerful smart controller with Predictive Watering™ technology that automatically adjusts schedules based on local weather data — including temperature, rainfall, humidity, and wind. This maximises water efficiency, reduces waste, and ensures landscapes remain healthy year-round.

The X2 maintains familiar contractor-friendly features like Easy Retrieve™ memory backup, QuickCheck™ diagnostics, seasonal adjustment, and Cycle and Soak, making setup and servicing simple. With the WAND module installed, contractors gain access to Rapid Programming™ Technology, which allows preconfigured schedules to be copied to multiple controllers in seconds, plus Bluetooth® pairing for quick Wi-Fi setup. Homeowners benefit from remote management via smartphone or web browser, system alerts, and compatibility with Amazon Alexa™ and Control4® smart home platforms.
