The Matelec HydroWHIZ Series VSD Controller is an advanced, user-friendly solution for constant pressure pump systems, designed to optimise performance, extend pump life, and simplify operation. Built into a rugged IP56-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door and removable gland plate, it’s engineered for demanding commercial, industrial, and municipal applications.

Featuring a high-resolution colour touch screen HMI, the HydroWHIZ provides an intuitive setup process and detailed operational insight, including time- and date-stamped alarms, logged events, trend graphs, and diagnostic pages. Its flexible control modes—level, pressure, or temperature—make it suitable for applications ranging from water transfer and tank fill to stormwater and sewage pump-out, pressure boosting, hot water circulation, and chiller supply.

The HydroWHIZ supports multi-pump configurations (up to 6 pumps) with adjustable duty sharing, staging/destaging, and staggered starts to minimise current draw and water hammer. Protection features include high/low level, pressure, and temperature shutdowns; no-flow and pump overload protection; anti-seize routines; maximum run safeguards; and feedback fault monitoring. Integration options include BMS volt-free outputs and Modbus RTU over RS485 for SCADA systems.
