The Rain Bird DV/DVF Series 25mm Solenoid Valves are engineered for dependable performance in residential and light commercial irrigation systems. Ideal for both spray and drip irrigation systems, the DV/DVF valves include options with and without flow control (DVF models feature an easy-to-turn pressure-assisted flow mechanism). Each valve is equipped with an energy-efficient, low-power solenoid featuring a 90-mesh internal filter for additional protection. With manual external and internal bleed options, these valves make installation, system flushing, and maintenance quick and straightforward. They are also compatible with Rain Bird’s TBOS latching solenoid, allowing integration with most battery-operated controllers for flexible irrigation management.
Designed to operate efficiently across a wide pressure range, the DV/DVF valves perform reliably in both low-flow and high-flow applications when installed with a 200-mesh upstream filter. RECOMMENDATIONS
- Rain Bird recommends flow rates that result in discharge velocities in the supply line not to exceed 7.5 ft/sec (2.3 m/s) in order to reduce the effects of water hammer
- Rain Bird residential valves cannot be used with PRS pressure regulating modules
- Compatible with ESP-LXIVM 2-wire systems when used with the IVMSOL. Not recommended for use in other 2-wire systems
