The Bermad IR-C30-C is a robust combination air release and vacuum relief valve, engineered for maximum performance in irrigation water networks and a wide range of operating conditions. Designed with a plastic inner valve body and a ductile iron protective shell, it offers the corrosion resistance of reinforced plastics with the external durability of a metal-bodied valve.
This advanced double orifice valve efficiently evacuates air during pipeline filling, continuously releases air pockets under pressure, and allows large-volume air intake during system draining or vacuum conditions. Its aerodynamic full-body kinetic shield prevents premature closing while ensuring uninterrupted air intake and discharge. Even under very low pressures (<1m or 0.1 bar), the valve’s dynamic sealing system maintains a leak-free operation.
The IR-C30-C is ideal for high points in pipelines, elevation changes, or near critical control valves and meters. Optional add-ons for 50mm models include surge protection, assisted closure, and inflow prevention kits for enhanced adaptability in the field.
