SD System SDS Series Data Coils

The Signal SD-DC-2E Series DataCoils™ are next-generation two-wire solenoid actuators designed to simplify installation, reduce costs, and increase system reliability. Engineered to work seamlessly with all “E” Series SDS Controllers, these patented DataCoils™ eliminate the need for separate external decoders by embedding decoder functionality directly into the coil.

Each coil communicates with the controller every 3 seconds, providing real-time diagnostics of valve status and complete field wiring integrity. Whether a valve is online, faulty, or disconnected, the SDS controller instantly displays the information—putting full visibility and control at your fingertips.

The SD-DC-2E coil features dual LED status indicators, viewable from a standing position via integrated diffuser lenses. These provide immediate visual confirmation of correct operation in the field, reducing troubleshooting time and improving service efficiency.

Built with rugged materials to handle harsh water conditions and operating pressures up to 10 Bar, the DataCoil™ delivers outstanding performance across landscape, turf, and agricultural environments.
