The Grundfos SQN 2 Series is a compact, high-efficiency range of 3" submersible borehole pumps designed for reliable water supply in low-yield bores and narrow wells. Delivering up to 60 litres per minute and heads of up to 115 metres, these multistage centrifugal pumps are ideal for off-grid homes, rural tank filling, groundwater extraction and environmental sampling.

Powered by a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor, the SQN2 series integrates advanced protection electronics and soft-start technology that eliminate water hammer, reduce energy consumption and maximise motor life. Each unit features floating impellers with tungsten carbide/ceramic bearings to minimise wear and deliver consistent performance — even under harsh bore conditions.

Whether installed in a new bore or replacing a standard 4" pump in a tight casing, the SQN 2 offers a plug-and-play solution with built-in protection from dry running, voltage fluctuations, overload, and over-temperature. It’s the perfect pump for rural, residential and remote installations where reliability and ease of operation are critical.
