The Bermad IR-130-3W-XZ is a hydraulically operated pressure sustaining valve designed to maintain a minimum upstream (back) pressure in irrigation systems and open fully when pressure exceeds the preset value. Controlled via a 3-way pilot and integrated manual selector, this valve offers smooth, precise modulation—making it ideal for pressure zone prioritization, system fill-up control, and protection of filtration systems from under-pressure events.
The 3-way pilot continuously monitors upstream pressure and adjusts the valve opening accordingly by controlling flow into or out of the diaphragm chamber. This ensures stable backpressure regardless of downstream fluctuations. When line pressure rises above the setpoint, the valve opens progressively to maintain the desired upstream pressure.
Built with Bermad’s hYflow™ Y-body design, this valve features ultra-high flow capacity, minimal head loss, and long-term durability. Its Super Travel Diaphragm (FST) and guided plug offer smooth actuation at low pressure, while the robust, engineered plastic body ensures resistance to chemicals, cavitation, and hydraulic shock.

INSTALLATION
