Bermad Quick Pressure Relief Valves for Bore Pumps

 DOWNLOAD PRODUCT BROCHURE

The Bermad IR-13Q Quick Pressure Relief Valve is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm-actuated valve engineered to instantly relieve excess pressure in irrigation systems. Designed for bore water networks and filtration systems, this valve protects critical infrastructure by opening immediately and fully when upstream pressure exceeds the preset limit.

With fast-acting performance and precise repeatability, the IR-13Q eliminates dangerous pressure peaks, prevents filter housing rupture, and helps avoid costly system failures. The valve closes smoothly and drip-tight once pressure normalizes, ensuring stable system operation. It also includes a manual test feature via the integrated cock valve.

Ideal for both open-field and greenhouse systems, this pressure relief solution offers robust protection from thermal expansion and over-pressurization, helping to extend the life of your entire irrigation network.

FEATURES

  • Instantaneous Pressure Relief:
    – Opens immediately at preset pressure threshold
    – Closes smoothly and drip-tight
  • Protects System Components:
    – Prevents burst damage in filters and pipelines
    – Counteracts pressure surges and thermal expansion
  • Manual Test Functionality:
    – Cock valve allows quick on-site operation checks
  • Visual Pressure Indicator:
    – Alerts operators to over-pressured conditions
  • Low Maintenance:
    – Reduces wear on downstream equipment and valves

APPLICATION

  • Bore water system protection
  • Filter burst prevention
  • Thermal expansion compensation
  • Pressure surge and peak elimination
  • Visual indication of system over-pressure
  • Preventative protection for high-value irrigation infrastructure

OPERATION

The Pressure Relief Pilot commands the valve to open immediately should the upstream pressure P1 abruptly rise above pilot setting, and to close smoothly when it falls below pilot setting, sealing drip tight. The Cock Valve 2 enables manual operating test.
