The Bermad WW-748 is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm-actuated control valve engineered for pump circulation and pressure sustaining functions. It integrates active check valve logic, enabling smooth flow control during pump start-up and shut-down cycles. By progressively circulating pump flow, the WW-748 delays and regulates the action of the mechanical check valve, significantly reducing pressure surges and water hammer.

Designed for off-line circulation installation, this valve maintains discharge pressure while enabling safe and controlled system pressurization, especially when starting or stopping solitary, battery-operated, or variable speed pump systems.
