The Bermad WW-790-M is a high-capacity, hydraulically-operated, diaphragm-actuated burst control safety valve that provides automatic, fail-safe protection for critical water networks. Upon detecting flow rates above its pre-set limit—such as those caused by pipe bursts, earthquakes, or mechanical damage—it shuts off drip-tight and locks closed until manually reset, ensuring protection of vulnerable infrastructure.

When flow remains within normal operating limits, the valve remains fully open to ensure minimal head loss and unrestricted performance.
