20" x 4.5" 2-Stage Replacement Cartridge Combo Deal (Pleated & Carbon)

Our new twin stage replacement whole house filters include a 20" x 4.5" 1 micon polyester pleated filter cartridge and a 5 micron coconut carbon filter for use with most large blue twin stage filtration systems. Our 2-stage system is designed to effectively remove sediment, chlorine chemical, taste and odour to deliver clean, clear water at every faucet in your home.

Stage 1 - Polyester Pleated

The polyester pleated cartridge provides increased surface area and longer filter life. Pleated cartridge provides "depth" filtration and remove more contaminants, large and fine particles from a drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust particles. This filter is responsible for removing dirt, rust, and most suspended solids, to protect and extend the life of the CTO carbon block filter. 

Stage 2 - Coconut Carbon Block

Matrikx CTO Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters, and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants.
