20" x 4.5" 3-Stage Whole House Replacement Cartridge Combo Deal (Spun, Carbon, Granulated Carbon)

Our new three stage replacement whole house filters include a 20" x 4.5" 1 micon spun type sediment filter cartridge, a 5 micron coconut carbon filter and a silver granulated carbon filter for use with most large blue three stage filtration systems. Our 3-stage system is designed to effectively remove sediment, chlorine chemical, taste and odour to deliver clean, clear water at every faucet in your home.

Stage 1 - Spun Type Sediment Filter

Used as the first stage of defense on the system, the stage 1 housing holds a 1-micron high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter. This filter removes dirt and other various larger sized particles from the water that can clog the following filters.

Stage 2 - Coconut Carbon Block Filter

Matrikx CTO Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters, and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. Stage 3 - Silver Granulated Carbon Filter

Silver Carbon Cartridge have been used to prevent spoilage of water. In these filters, it prevents bacterial growth in the fine cracks of the activated carbon to ensure the carbon stays effective for taste, odour and colour reduction in un-chlorinated water supplies.
