The Netafim D-040 is a robust, high-performance combination air release and vacuum valve designed to protect pressurised pipelines in irrigation, water distribution, and filtration systems. Rated to PN16 (16 bar), this valve provides automatic release of air pockets, intake of large air volumes, and vacuum relief during pipeline start-up, shutdown, and operation.

Manufactured from corrosion-resistant plastic and engineered with a rolling seal mechanism, the D-040 delivers dependable performance across a wide pressure range—making it suitable for use in pump stations, long water supply lines, and pipeline peaks.
