The Hunter EZDM is a plug-in decoder output module designed to enable two-wire EZ Decoder System functionality on HCC and ICC2 controllers. It allows for the connection and control of up to 54 decoder-operated stations on a single controller, streamlining installation and significantly reducing wire usage across large-scale irrigation projects.
This compact module is the heart of Hunter’s EZ Decoder System integration for mid-sized to large commercial and municipal irrigation systems. It connects easily to the controller facepack and communicates via a two-wire path to compatible EZ-1 single-station decoders installed in the field. With up to 2 two-wire paths, the EZDM simplifies zoning and minimizes complex wiring while maintaining robust and reliable valve activation.
The EZDM does not require sensor decoders, earth grounding, or additional network modules, and it supports hybrid conventional and decoder operation, making it ideal for system upgrades or phased expansions.
