The self-priming versions of the Hi-Flo range are suitable for pumping septic tank effluent. The 12 series surface mount, composite construction pumps have open impellers to handle soft solids and built in check valves offering excellent self-priming characteristics

This product features a horizontal, single-stage centrifugal pump with an open impeller that is coupled to a cool-running, 2-pole motor. The motor is Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled and has an external thermal overload for single phase use. For three phase units, a separate quick trip overload must be supplied by an electrical contactor.
