The FM Series flow switch is built tough for the most arduous industrial and mining applications.
The Kelco FM-H-25B Heavy Duty Flow Switch is engineered for reliable operation in the most demanding industrial, mining, and marine environments. Featuring a glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene paddle, a 316 stainless steel process connection, and a machined billet aluminium housing, the FM Series is built to withstand extreme pressures up to 400 bar (5800 psi) while maintaining high sensitivity for precise flow detection.
A built-in manual override allows pumps and systems to be started manually at any time, simplifying testing and commissioning. The seal-less magnetic drive eliminates shaft seals, diaphragms, and bellows—reducing potential leak and failure points. The paddle can be trimmed to suit specific pipe sizes (≥25mm) and flow rates, with Kelco’s Paddle Trimming Calculator available for accurate adjustment.
Suitable for fresh water, seawater, bore water, and many chemical solutions, the FM Series is also available in a Nickel Copper alloy paddle version (FM-D) for diesel fuel and high-temperature applications up to 100°C.
