The Grundfos SL1.80.80 Submersible Wastewater Pump is designed to handle large volumes of wastewater effectively. The SL1.80.80 pump features an S-Tube® impeller, which enables efficient pumping of wastewater while maintaining a clog-free operation. The impeller and pump housing are made of cast iron, ensuring durability and longevity even in demanding wastewater applications.
Installation and Connectivity
This pump adheres to DIN flange standards for both the inlet and outlet connections. It has a DN 100 size for the inlet connection and a DN 80 size for the outlet connection, with a pressure rating of PN 10. The pump can be submerged up to a maximum installation depth of 20 meters.
Operating Conditions
The SL1.80.80 pump is designed to operate within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 40°C. It can handle liquid temperatures ranging from 10°C to 40°C. With a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar, this pump provides reliable and efficient pumping performance.
Electrical Data and Safety Features
The pump operates at a mains frequency of 50 Hz and is rated for 3 x 400-415 V voltage supply. It has a voltage tolerance of +10%/-10% and can start a maximum of 20 times per hour. The SL1.80.80 pump has a four-pole motor and utilizes a direct-on-line starting method. It has an IP68 enclosure class, providing excellent protection against dust and water ingress. The insulation class is rated as H, offering high resistance to heat. Please note that this model is not explosion-proof.
Cable and Controls
A 10-meter 07RN8-F power cable is included with the pump for convenient installation. However, the control box is not included. The pump is equipped with moisture sensors to detect any water ingress, ensuring added safety and protection.
