Rain Bird ESP-2 Wire Controller

The Rain Bird ESP-2WIRE Controller is a compact, decoder-based irrigation controller designed to simplify wiring and improve efficiency on small to medium commercial irrigation systems. Using a 2-wire path instead of traditional multi-core cabling, it significantly reduces installation time, trenching and material costs while maintaining reliable, centralised control of multiple irrigation zones.

Built on the familiar ESP platform, the ESP-2WIRE delivers an intuitive programming interface similar to the popular ESP-ME3, making it easy for contractors and end users to set schedules, manage zones and maintain systems without extensive training. With support for up to 50 stations as standard, it offers a scalable solution for schools, parks, residential estates and light commercial landscapes.

The controller features automatic decoder addressing, allowing connected decoders to be quickly detected and assigned to stations, saving considerable commissioning time on site. It also supports standard irrigation cable and connectors, eliminating the need for specialised wiring or grounding systems.

Optional WiFi connectivity via the LNK module enables remote monitoring and control, while built-in diagnostics, LED indicators and an electronic circuit breaker help identify faults and maintain system performance.
