The Bermad IR-900-M Series Hydrometer is a uniquely engineered irrigation solution that combines a high-accuracy Woltman-type vertical turbine water meter with a diaphragm-actuated hydraulic control valve in a single, compact unit. Designed to function simultaneously as a main control valve and flow meter, the IR-900-M optimizes both system efficiency and installation simplicity in agricultural, landscape, municipal, and industrial water networks.

At the heart of the IR-900-M is a magnetically coupled, vacuum-sealed register, driven by a vertical turbine impeller. This robust design ensures long-term performance even in dirty water conditions and humid environments. The solenoid-controlled actuator enables remote on/off operation via any compatible irrigation controller, while plastic pilot accessories enhance corrosion resistance and installation flexibility.

Ideal for integrated irrigation management, the IR-900-M supports a full range of metering functions—from basic local readouts to advanced telemetry with optional Reed Switch or 4–20 mA opto-electronic pulse outputs. It also supports enhanced hydraulic control features, including pressure regulation, flow limitation, and level control.
