The HR Paddle Type Magnetic Drive Water Meter is designed for reliable performance in challenging conditions, making it ideal for dirty water applications in agriculture and wastewater treatment plants. The paddle is suspended in the upper part of the meter body, allowing solids to pass through without causing damage. As water flows, the impeller rotates in direct proportion to the volume of water being measured, with these rotations magnetically transmitted to the dry register for accurate readings. The hermetically vacuum-sealed register prevents moisture infiltration, ensuring long-term accuracy, while the dry-type magnetic transmission minimizes wear and enhances durability. A magnetic shield protects against external magnetic interference, maintaining consistent performance even in demanding environments. The meter offers high-flow accuracy and a steady curve characteristic, with a solid, robust design built to withstand harsh conditions. The register features scratch-resistant glass for lasting clarity and a fully encapsulated 360° rotating counter, ensuring easy reading while remaining protected from impurities. The pulse reed switch option allows the meter to send electric signals per a preset water quantity, with data pulse outputs of 10 litres for the 50mm model, 100 litres for the 80mm and 100mm models, and 1000 litres for the 150mm and 200mm models. The switch operates at a maximum voltage of 6 VAC/DC and a maximum current of 0.10 Amps. Designed to handle water temperatures up to 50°C and a pressure rating of PN16, the meter requires proper installation to ensure optimal performance. The inlet should have a straight pipe length of 10 times the pipe diameter, while the outlet requires 5 times the pipe diameter. Installation must follow the arrow direction, be in a horizontal position, and include a strainer upstream of the meter to protect the measuring element. Flushing the line before installation is recommended to remove any debris.
