Line Flushing Valves are used to provide a cleansing action in the dripperline each time the zone is turned on. 

Line Flushing Valves play a crucial role in maintaining optimal performance by providing a cleansing action in the dripper line every time the zone is activated. As water flows through the valve upon zone activation, it initiates a flushing process, diverting excess water into a sump or valve box.

This flushing action generates additional flow, momentarily increasing the velocity of water inside the dripper line. As a result, it effectively cleans the inside walls of the tubing and removes any sediment or debris accumulated in the drip inlet filters.

• When a zone is turned on, the flush valve begins dumping water into a sump (valve box).
• The dumping of water (additional flow)allows the velocity of water inside the dripperline to increase momentarily helping to clean the inside walls of the tubing and drip inlet filters.
• This action moves sediment out of the zone and into the sump.
