The Omnipure L5505 is a high-performance 5 micron polypropylene depth sediment filter, designed for effective reduction of dirt, sand, and sediment to protect downline equipment and improve water quality. With its quick-connect design, the L5505 is simple to install, making it a reliable choice for residential and commercial applications, including pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems.

The cap and body are spin-welded together, producing a smooth, consistent seal without the use of glues or binders that could cause contamination. This precision manufacturing ensures a leak-free, durable filter that’s fast and easy to install. The fittings are moulded directly into the filter cap, greatly reducing clearance requirements and optimising space in tight installations.

The L-Series housings and fillings have been tested to NSF Standard 42. Testing included hydrostatic testing at 2,070 kPa (300 psig) and cycle testing through 100,000 repetitions from 7 kPa to 1,035 kPa (1 to 150 psig), proving the filter’s durability and reliability.
