Plasson Plassadle with Female Threaded Outlet (63mm-180mm)

The Plasson Plassadle Self-Tapping Saddle is a next-generation mechanical tapping saddle designed for fast, reliable branch connections on PE pipelines from 63mm to 180mm. Engineered for ease of use, it requires no bolts, eliminating time-consuming assembly and reducing installation costs.

Featuring a female threaded outlet, the Plassadle creates a secure, leak-free branch connection for irrigation, agricultural, industrial, and municipal water supply systems. Built from non-corrosive, durable plastics with reinforced clamp arms and an EPDM seal system, it ensures watertight reliability without the need for thread sealants.

The saddle includes a DZR brass cutter that performs the tapping directly into the pipe during installation, simplifying the process. Supplied with a tightening wrench for the grey nut, it is pressure-rated to PN16 and certified to WaterMark and ISO Type 5 standards, guaranteeing long service life and dependable performance in tough conditions.

• Operating temperatures
  • The Plassadle is NOT to be used with hot water, although the saddle will withstand the same temperature as the polyethylene pipe. For operating temperatures above 20º please refer to the PLASSON website. The Plassadle can withstand sub-zero temperatures 
• Chemical Resistance 
  • The Plassadle is supplied with EPDM seals and O Rings as standard. EDPM has a higher chemical resistance than NBR which is commonly used in Plasson seals and O-rings

  • WaterMark and ISO Type 5 certified to run at PN16 pressure
