The Matelec 6kVA Battery Back-Up Power System provides reliable emergency power for pump controllers and control panels in the event of a mains outage. Designed for automatic operation, it delivers continuous 230 VAC supply via an integrated inverter, ensuring critical pumping and control systems remain operational.

Housed in a robust IP44-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with removable gland plates and integral ventilation, the system is available in free-standing or wall-mount configurations. It features intelligent battery monitoring, automatic changeover between mains and battery supply, and safe battery management to prevent overcharging or deep discharge.

With options for 225 A/h or 450 A/h battery capacity, the system can be tailored to deliver extended run times depending on pump load. Onboard monitoring via the inverter display provides real-time battery status, while comprehensive electrical protection safeguards both the inverter and batteries.
