Matelec Standard Soft Start Motor Controller for Single Pump Applications with IP44 Steel Enclosure

The Matelec Standard Soft Start Motor Controller is a reliable, cost-effective control solution for operating large three-phase pumps or motors where soft starting is required to reduce mechanical and electrical stress. Designed for both manual and automatic operation, it’s ideal for applications such as water transfer, pressure boosting, irrigation, and stormwater or sewage pumping.

Housed in a robust IP44-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with a removable gland plate, the controller includes a user-adjustable soft starter for smooth acceleration and deceleration, extending motor and pump life. The auto/off/manual selector allows flexible operation, while built-in overload protection ensures the system shuts down in the event of an overcurrent condition.

With two digital inputs for cut-off and working level switches, this controller offers simple integration with float switches, pressure switches, or other control devices. Optional upgrades include IP56 or stainless steel enclosures, visual/audible alarms, and remote start/stop inputs.
