The Puretec Hybrid R1 is a compact, all-in-one whole-house filtration and ultraviolet purification system designed for smaller households using rainwater, tank water or mains supply. Combining dual-stage cartridge filtration with Radfire™ UV disinfection, the R1 removes sediment, chemicals, taste, odour and harmful microorganisms — providing safe, clean water to every tap in your home. With a maximum flow rate of 75 litres per minute, it is ideal for 1–2 bathroom homes wanting reliable, high-quality water treatment in a streamlined, easy-to-install unit.

The Hybrid R1 features a reversible mounting bracket, allowing left-to-right or right-to-left plumbing for flexible installation (as shown on page 2 of the brochure). It incorporates a washable 5-micron sediment filter (PL05MP1) followed by a carbon cartridge (DP10MP1) that reduces chlorine, bad taste and odours. Water then passes through the Radfire™ stainless-steel UV chamber, which destroys 99.99% of bacteria including E. coli, Giardia and Cryptosporidium — as highlighted in the UV performance section on page 2.

Built for long-term reliability, the system includes a smart control panel with lamp life countdown, audible & visual alarms, and a retainer cap for tool-free UV lamp replacement. The durable aluminium mounting bracket resists corrosion, while the lightweight modular design ensures quick installation and easy servicing.
