The Davey Submersible Vortex Pumps are high-performance, multi-purpose pumps designed for effective and reliable grey water handling. Built with a corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel motor shell, shaft, strainer, and fasteners, and finished with high-quality paint, these pumps are engineered for durability in demanding environments.

Ideal for grey water pumping, sump emptying, septic effluent disposal, water transfer, and light slurry or factory waste applications, this range offers excellent versatility. The D15VA and D15VAGMA models include a unique recirculation port that keeps soft solids agitated in the sump, enhancing the pump’s ability to remove them efficiently.

All models come with a sand slinger lip seal for added motor protection and an automatic resetting thermal overload, safeguarding the pump against overheating. Most models feature a double mechanical shaft seal in an oil bath with a hard-faced silicon carbide/ceramic pump-side seal for extended service life, while the D15VA and D15VAGMA include a robust single seal design. For user convenience, the pumps are supplied with a 10-metre HO7RNF oil-resistant power lead and a 3-pin plug, ready for straightforward installation.

Suitable Fluids: Clean or “grey water” of neutral pH containing up to 10% small soft solids or 1% fine solids. Some wear should be expected while pumping hard solids in suspension.
