Calpeda GQVM 50 Submersible Pump with Float Switch, 10m Cable & Thermal Capacitor

The Calpeda GQVM 50 Submersible Pump is a high-performance drainage and sewage pump designed for both domestic and industrial applications. Featuring a single-impeller design with a free-flow (vortex) impeller and a vertical threaded delivery port (G 2”), this pump efficiently handles dirty water with solids up to 50 mm grain size. Its double mechanical shaft seal with an interposed oil chamber offers superior protection against dry-running, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.

The GQVM 50 is ideal for draining rooms, emptying tanks, and extracting water from ponds, streams, or pits. It is also well-suited for rainwater collection and other water management tasks. The pump operates within a liquid temperature range of up to 35°C and a pH value of 6-11, making it compatible with a wide range of liquids. With a maximum immersion depth of 5 m and a minimum immersion depth of 275 mm, the GQVM 50 is built for continuous duty with a submerged motor.

This pump is equipped with a 2-pole induction motor running at approximately 2900 rpm. The GQVM model features a single-phase 230V ± 10% power supply, with a built-in float switch and thermal protector for added safety. The pump is supplied with a 10-meter cable (H07RN-F, 3G1 mm²) and is constructed with high-quality materials, including a cast iron pump casing and chrome-nickel steel components. Its protection class is IP X8, ensuring durability and reliable operation even when fully submerged.
