The Calpeda GQS Submersible Drainage Pumps are powerful and reliable solutions for handling wastewater and dirty water across a range of applications. Featuring a single-impeller design with a free-flow vortex impeller, these pumps efficiently manage solids up to 40, 50, or 65 mm in size, making them ideal for domestic, industrial, and commercial use. The GQS model comes with a vertical threaded delivery port (G 1 ½" or G 2"), while the GQV model offers a horizontal threaded delivery port (G 2" or G 2 ½") and flanged delivery options (DN 50 or DN 65), providing installation flexibility.
Equipped with a double mechanical shaft seal and an interposed oil chamber, these pumps are protected against dry-running, ensuring long-lasting performance even in demanding environments. With a flow range of 3 to 36 m³/h, a head range of 1.8 to 15 m, and power ratings from 0.55 to 2 kW, they are well-suited for draining rooms, emptying tanks, extracting water from ponds, streams, or pits, and collecting rainwater.
Designed for continuous duty with a submerged motor, they operate in liquid temperatures up to 35°C, with a pH range of 6-11 and a maximum immersion depth of 5 meters. The minimum immersion depth is 275 mm for most models and 355 mm for the GQV 65. Whether tackling routine water transfer or handling more challenging wastewater applications, the Calpeda GQS/GQV pumps deliver dependable performance and durability.
Applications
